A Vacation Paradise I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay at the Eland Villas turned out. We were 4 couples, each couple had a private room with a full bath. I stayed in the upstairs bedroom which has a balcony that provided a stunning beach view while drinking my morning coffee. Our Host Family-friendly service started well before we visited their beautiful home. This was our first visit to Crete so we were a little nervous, About a month before our visit I had asked for recommendations such as restaurants, shopping, and other needs. I received the nicest response along with assistance setting up our transportation to and from the port. Once we arrived at the Viilas the family was there to greet us, they made us feel like family the moment we met them. In regards to the home, I can't begin to compliment it enough. Let me just say you can want for nothing because even the smallest of details have been well planned out. The Villas are a short walk to the beach, grocery store, and plenty of fun beachside restaurants ( trying Manny’s is a must). If you're looking for a family-friendly place that provides everything you need and more. This is your spot. We highly recommend staying here for an unforgettable experience. I want to thank our Host for being so kind to all of us. Our stay was a pleasure from start to finish.

The best starting point for exploring Crete We were already in Villa AVRA in 2018, a few months after the completion of the villas, with a family friend with a total of 5 children (7-12 years). It was the great holiday for us and especially for our children. The children begged for years to go there again, which we had done this summer. We were all completely thrilled again and happy that we could repeat this holiday. The children have become teenagers and young adults and the wishes and expectations were naturally somewhat different. But they have been fully fulfilled again this time. The experiences we have had with the local people can almost embarrass us Germans a little. You experience not only with the hosts, but also in the restaurants, taverns and even in the snack bar, an incredible warmth, hospitality and generosity from which we can cut off a slice. The owner Eleni, her mother Roula and her brother, are the best landlords imaginable. The welcome is warm, the villas are stunning and the view from the terrace with pool to the sea is beautiful. No matter when you arrive, you will be shown and explained the Villa and its complete facilities. There are tips for shopping, eating out, going to the beaches and for excursions. If you have a question or request, you will respond immediately. They're tearing their legs out for their guests. The Villa was as clean as it was six years ago. The cleaning team is incredibly friendly and very thorough. Please tip you enough at the end. They really deserve it. We can fully recommend Eland Dream Villas. They are the best starting point for a voyage of discovery in Crete that you can only wish for.

Great accommodations and location... don't hesitate to book! I have now stayed at Eland Dream Villas twice (in 2024 and in 2017) and recommended it to many family members. In fact, I would not hesitate to book again at these lovely accommodations, situated about a 15-minute drive west of Chania’s old Venetian port. From the moment you enter the villas, the attention to modern décor, cleanliness and functionality is very evident. The villas we stayed in had three bedrooms and accommodated up to 6 people—2 people/ bedroom. Each villa consisted of two floors, allowing one bedroom to be situated on the main ground floor and the other bedrooms to be located at the upper level (or bottom level, depending which villa you were in). This allowed for more privacy between guests. Depending on the villa, there was either a large bed OR two separate smaller beds. The large bed with one large mattress, upon request, could be changed to two separate mattresses. All mattresses were very comfortable. All bedrooms and main areas of the villa had their own A/C units as well. Each bedroom had its own ensuite bathroom, making this very convenient for everyone. Towels were provided for both showering and for swimming, along with the usual amenities (blow-dryer, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, creams, lit closet, desk in bedroom, and locks for the bedroom doors). There was also a washing machine in each villa, with an iron and ironing board. Since the villas are situated a short distance higher up away from the main street, it allowed for a peaceful sleep. The bedrooms even had mechanical blind shutters to allow for extra darkness and quietness. Each villa had its own decent-sized pool, with chair loungers, umbrella and an outdoor dining table, which was very convenient on days that we simply wanted to have a lazy start, or a late-night swim. The proximity to the sandy beach was a short 10-minute walk downhill. Having both the beach and the pool close by allowed the option for our group to choose either one or the other, and not all have to go together. Free parking was available for both our rental cars in front of our villa. A fully equipped kitchenette, fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, dining table, lounging area with couch, coffee table and chairs, TV, and internet were also much appreciated. Eleni was very prompt to answer all my questions by email or WhatsApp in English or Greek. Her mom Roula and Roula’s brother greeted us upon our arrival, fully explaining all details of the villa, with many recommendations on where to eat. Good seaside restaurants were close by at the beach. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Αυτή είναι η πιο εκπληκτική βίλα - μέσα και έξω. Όμορφα διακοσμημένο, με μια πανέμορφη πισίνα με θέα στη θάλασσα, αλλά πίσω από το Καλαμάκι στην πλαγιά ενός λόφου, ώστε να έχετε ηρεμία και ησυχία, αλλά με όλες τις παροχές / παραλιακό δρόμο μόλις 2 λεπτά με τα πόδια.

Η Ελένη και η ομάδα της ήταν εξαιρετικές. Ήταν εξαιρετικά εξυπηρετικοί και ευγενικοί. Η πτήση μας είχε καθυστέρηση και περίμεναν ευγενικά να μας υποδεχτούν στη βίλα. Εκτός από την εξαιρετική εξυπηρέτηση πελατών τους, απολαύσαμε τα πάντα σχετικά με τη διαμονή μας. Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!

Πραγματικά απόλαυσα τη διαμονή μου στις βίλες Eland Dream. Όμορφο κατάλυμα. Άφθονος χώρος για 6 ενήλικες. Σε κοντινή απόσταση με τα πόδια από τοπικά εστιατόρια, αγορές, καταστήματα και παραλίες. Υπέροχη θέα στη θάλασσα. Πολύ εξυπηρετικοί οικοδεσπότες. Εύκολη πρόσβαση με το αυτοκίνητο στα Χανιά. Ή, αν θέλετε, εύκολη πρόσβαση σε λεωφορεία για να σας μεταφέρουν όπου έπρεπε να πάτε. Είχαμε μια υπέροχη διαμονή και θα το συνιστούσα σε όποιον θέλει να μείνει στην περιοχή του Καλαμακίου.

Υπέροχη θέα, σε μικρή απόσταση με τα πόδια από την παραλία Καλαμάκι. Μείναμε εδώ για μια εβδομάδα και εξερευνήσαμε την Κρήτη. Είχαμε μια υπέροχη διαμονή, θα το συνιστούσα ανεπιφύλακτα ! Εξαιρετικοί οικοδεσπότες.

Wonderful. Well situated with great views of the ocean and small harbour. Walking distance to some good tavernas/restraunts and only short drive/taxi ride to Chania old town. Lovely outdoor spaces and pool area. Fabulous master room with double balcony and amazing picture window for sea views from bed.
